NKF Surf Fest 2024: Waves, Champions, and a Mission to Make a Difference

This year’s NKF Surf Fest 2024 in Cocoa Beach, FL, was an unforgettable celebration of surfing, community, and philanthropy. Surfers, spectators, and supporters came together to ride waves, raise funds, and support the National Kidney Foundation’s vital work in the fight against kidney disease.

A Weekend to Remember

The event kicked off with pumping waves and an inspiring junior competition sponsored by Cobian. The energy on the beach was electric as surfers of all ages showcased their talent, riding for glory and a greater cause. The weekend wasn’t just about surfing; it was about uniting to make a difference in the lives of those affected by kidney disease.

Celebrating Surfing Excellence

A huge highlight of the event was the Pro-Am Division, where Cobian team rider William Hedleston delivered a remarkable performance. With skill and determination, William secured the Pro-Am Division title, leaving the crowd in awe. His victory wasn’t just a testament to his incredible talent but also reflected Cobian’s dedication to supporting the next generation of surfers.

Inspiration On and Off the Waves

The legend CJ Hobgood, Cobian Ambassador and World Champion surfer, joined the festivities, bringing his signature energy and warmth to the event. Whether he was inspiring the crowd with his words, cheering on competitors, or connecting with fans, CJ embodied the heart of the Surf Fest: bringing people together for a meaningful cause.

Every wave ridden and every dollar raised helps the National Kidney Foundation provide essential programs and services to patients and families affected by kidney disease. It’s a testament to the power of community and the impact we can make when we come together.
